Steve Lane Awarded Coveted Crainesbury Trophy

Another Skidmark Bowling Extravaganza is in the history books. There were no injuries to report even with heavy balls rolling (except for Bob William's 4-pound, pink ball) and tenpins flying!

Even though Steve Lane registered some really mediocre scores and kept his team in the hunt --- he was still awarded the Crainesbury Trophy -- as is the tradition!

Three teams competed and the final results were actually fairly close. Team One: Shari Williams (103), Dave "Big for Somethin'" Rodriguez (117), Leslie Sorensen (114), Gil Jessup (103), Clay Whitney (117), and Jim "Big for Nothin'" Crawford (121) were the Champions (and voting privileges) with a team total of 676. (Individual score averages are listed in parentheses).

Team Two, consisting of Sean Hunt (147), Vickie Lane (113), Bob "Big Stud" Williams (96), Yvonne Jessup (89), and Sue Crawford (106) dodged the proverbial bullet by placing second with a team score of 664.

Team Three (the last-place finishers) was composed of Steve "Mr. Trophy" Lane (132), Kim Rodriguez (117), Drew "Easy Does It" Sorensen (105), Lacey Babcock (89), and Slammin' Chuck Mann - last year's trophy-keeper - (97).  Their team total was 653.

We had a great time, drank many Coronas, and enjoyed the food (and stawberry margaritas) at La Fiesta.
